Job Overview

The purpose of the job is to ensure that the Stores assistants receive stock and pack it on the shelves, to physically issue stock to the customers, prepare parcels to be sent to client.                                          

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 or equivalent 

Experience

  • 3 year demonstrated experience working in a stores/warehouse environment                 
  • Driving experience is essential                                                            

Duties and Responsibilities

Providing Store  assistance: 

  • Issue stock
  • Ordering of stock 
  • Receive stock and parts 
  • Stock count 
  • Stacking and storing of items 
  • Quotations/ telephone calls
  • House keeping
  • Packing / crating and weighing of items
  • Label and documentation
  • Issue tools
  • Keep registers update
