Job Description

As a Data Capture, you will be responsible for capturing and processing various data from different sources, such as computer systems from paper documents, electronic files. 

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently enter data into retail computer systems from paper documents, electronic files, or other sources
• Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of data entries to ensure data quality.
• Identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, and missing information in the data.
• Update and maintain databases by adding, modifying, or deleting records as necessary.
• Organize and maintain physical and electronic data files, ensuring data is properly stored and accessible.
• Retrieve specific information from databases or files as requested by other team members or departments.
• Ensure the confidentiality and security of sensitive data by following data protection and privacy policies.
• Maintain records of data entry activities and tasks, including error logs and data processing logs
• Generate standard reports and summaries based on the data entered for use by other team members or departments
• Perform quality control checks on data entries to ensure they meet the organization’s standards

Requirements

• Diploma or higher
• Proficiency in Microsoft office – advanced.
• The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) and sound presentation skills
• Shopify retail POS and reporting experience would be advantageous.
• At least two to five years of working experience in a related field.
• Able to work Monday to Friday on a 5-day work week
• Good communication skills
• Team player
• Able to multitask
• Good organizational skills and meticulousness.
