Introduction

A vacancy has arisen for a Payroll and HR Administrative Assistant, who will be based at Halfway Toyota Fourways, Gauteng. This position provides essential support in managing payroll processes and performing a variety of HR administrative tasks. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity. This position bridges finance, HR and general office admin, ensuring employees are paid accurately and timeously.


Duties & Responsibilities

Process weekly/ monthly payroll from start to finishPrepare; process and verify payroll data for all employeesEnsure compliance with labour laws, tax regulations and company policiesMaintain accurate employee recordsPrepare payroll reports for management and auditorsRespond to payroll enquiries from management and employeesStatutory and bargaining council related monthly, biannual and annual submissions. Preparing payroll reports and reconciliations


Desired Experience & Qualification

Ideally the candidate must have Matric and an HR qualification, Bachelor’s degree or Diploma. A valid driver’s license. At least 5 years of HR Admin experience within a HR department.At least 3 years payroll processing experience on VIP Premier. Vast knowledge of VIP Premier is a prerequisite and applicants without this knowledge would not be considered. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
