Job Purpose

The Department of Infrastructure, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably and competent individual to render a data capturing service. 

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification).

Recommendation

Relevant administrative experience; Proven Data Capturing and general office experience; A valid code B (or higher) driving license. NB People with disabilities that restrict driving abilities, but who have reasonable access to transport, may also apply.Key Performance Areas

Ensure logsheets are correctly and safely maintained: Controlling of information on logsheets; Capture logsheets on the system; Print missing logsheets; Capture overtime logsheets; Capture issue notes; Capture data from available records into the required formats e.g. databases, table, spreadsheet; Verify, query missing data and errors observed during data entry; Review and validate all data from the records; Submit data; Make regular backups of data; Update registers and statistics; Keep and maintain records and files; Ensure records and files are properly sorted and secured; System Management; General Administration.

Computer literacy in MS Office; Good verbal & written communication skills; Sound organizational skills; Good people skills; Client orientation and Customer Focus; Planning and Organising. 

Remuneration: R193 359 – R227 766 per annum (Salary level 4)
