We are looking for someone with the following experience, qualifications and /or skillsets:

Curro Holdings seeks to appoint a Caregiver (full-time) to commence duties in January 2026.

Curro Holdings is seeking to appoint a caring, responsible, and enthusiastic Caregiver at Curro Academy Mahikeng.
The Caregiver will assist the Aftercare Supervisor with daily aftercare duties, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for learners.

Qualifications, experience and skills

We are looking for someone with the following experience, qualifications and /or skillsets:

  • Matric (required).
  • Early Childhood Development Certificate Level 4 (advantageous).
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in an aftercare or as a teacher assistant.
  • Basic knowledge of child care and supervision.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy, patience, and strong emotional control.
  • Ability to plan, organise, and work as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work shifts as required.

The responsibilities are:

  • Take responsibility for any and all school equipment and stock of the teacher and class.
  • Work closely with phase teachers to ensure the effective running of the phase.
  • Create an educational atmosphere in the classroom.
  • Manage, plan, assist and promote teaching and learning within the class.
  • Manage, plan, assist and promote activities (sport and culture) within the school.
  • Assist with sport and other admin duties as an when the need arises.
  • Personal commitment to education and a willingness to contribute to the values and ethos of the school.

The successful candidate will start March 2026
