Curro Holdings seeks to appoint Admissions Officer (full-time) at Curro Academy Wilgeheuwel in Roodepoort to commence duties in April 2026

Key performance areas

  • Screen and manage all telephone calls, enquiries, and requests, handling or redirecting as appropriate
  • Meet and greet visitors, including prospective families and stakeholders, at all levels of seniority
  • Handle incoming emails and perform general administrative functions
  • Support basic financial administration as assigned
  • Oversee stock control for items such as stationery and furniture
  • Liaise effectively with central office, executive heads, secretaries, clients, suppliers, and other staff
  • Maintain excellent records and logs as required
  • Uphold the values and professional standards of the school in all interactions
  • Perform additional relevant duties as directed by the Head of School or Manager


Qualifications, experience and skills

  • Certificate in Office Administration or equivalent
  • Appropriate qualification from a recognised institution
  • Relevant experience in an admissions, office administration, or client service position
  • Demonstrated financial acumen and experience
  • Experience with stock control (e.g., stationery, furniture) preferred
  • Highly proficient and experienced in Microsoft Office
  • Strong financial and administrative skills
  • Excellent telephone and email communication
  • Professional appearance and conduct, capable of interacting with senior stakeholders
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise work and manage multiple tasks
  • Effective relationship-building and client service mindset
  • Personal commitment to education and the values/ethos of the school
  • Clear criminal record
