We are looking for someone with the following experience, qualifications and /or skillsets:

Curro Holdings seeks to appoint an Administrative Clerk (full-time) at Curro Academy Sandown in Cape Town to commence duties in January 2026

Key Performance Areas
Systems and Documentation Administration:
- Receipt and review of learner applications, request additional information if required, and submit to Executive Head for review and approval
- Conduct credit checks and maintain learner files, including opening files and uploading all documentation
- Manage amendments to learner profiles and file all relevant documents
Office and Facilities Coordination and Administration:
- Receive and coordinate facilities issues and external contractors for repairs
- Monitor completion of repairs and facilitate school opening duties
Queries Support and General Administration:
- Provide administrative support during open days and events
- Respond to parent queries on learner applications
- Liaise with other schools regarding learner transfers
- Coordinate bookings with parents and manage Executive Head’s diary
- Deliver general admin support as required
Distribution of Textbooks and Stationery:
- Receive, check, stamp, and label textbooks and stationery
- Create and manage textbook pack lists for learners and coordinate signatures
- File textbook records, coordinate the return of textbooks at year end, and manage payment process for damaged books
Qualifications, experience and skills
- Grade 12 (Matric) – essential
- At least 2 years’ experience as an administrative clerk
- Experience in an educational environment is an advantage
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Familiarity with online information systems (e.g., Synergy)
- Planning and organising skills
- Excellent time management
- Attention to detail
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Patience
